Michael has been with DDK since October of 2002. Specializing in a wide range of activities such as GIS specialist, Timber Inventories, Statistics and Modeling, Timber Sales, Appraisals, Acquisition analysis, and client relations.
"My love of the outdoors is what drew me to forestry. I quickly learned that I had a passion for helping people, and that is what I view most of my daily tasks as. I enjoy the diversity in tasks from mapping and data analysis in the office to boots-on-the-ground fieldwork in the woods. I also enjoy the diversity of communication from helping a landowner that may understand very little about a property they just inherited to assisting an investment firm with calculating their rate of return. I have always been happy to be a part of the DDK team and blessed to be a part of the DDK family."
"My beautiful wife Mickie and I are the proud parents of an amazing daughter Paxton. I have a love for all things outdoors that we all participate in as a family. My/our true passion is for life below the water surface. I have been a certified SCUBA diver since 1996 with over 300 dives and Mickie became certified in 2006. Paxton just received her junior certification in 2020 and recently completed her first 9 open ocean dives in Roatan, Honduras. We look forward to spending many hours together exploring the oceans. We attend Fellowship Bible Church where Mickie and I lead a Discipleship group."
